New at Narrative: Seth Shapiro, Partner Success Associate

by Zeke Sexauer, on October 17, 2019

For the past six years, Seth worked as a songwriter and music producer by day (he once wrote a really catchy ad jingle for Coke—unfortunately, they passed on it), and head server at some of the most exciting restaurants in New York City by night. Most recently, he helped Chef Missy Robbins open her first restaurant, Lilia.

Joining the Narrative team as a Partner Success Associate, Seth will serve as the main point of contact for Narrative's Acquire clients, helping with everything from discovery to placing buy orders to data delivery—in general, making sure clients get the highest value from our products.

After seeing data analytics evolve in both music production and restaurants, Seth was inspired to learn more about how data can be collected, shared, and, ultimately, put to use. When he discovered Narrative, he knew right away that he wanted to help with what we were building.

Producing pop music is about simplifying complex ideas and creatively applying cutting-edge technology, and working in restaurants is, above all, about customer service and hospitality. As Partner Success Associate at Narrative, Seth will combine these skills to help our Acquire clients get the most value they can from our platform.

Seth grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and spent time in Los Angeles, London, and Rio de Janeiro before landing in New York City. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor of arts in philosophy.

Outside of work, Seth likes to write music, play tennis, and eat dark chocolate. His time spent taking notes in professional kitchens turned him into a pretty good cook, as well.
